Mac lipstick Collection

Cinderella , Creme cup, Honey love, Velvet-teddy, Please me, Twig, Plumful, All fired up, Morange, Lady-danger, Ruby woo, Stone.

I started off with one MAC lipstick which I brought myself for my High-school Prom but now I own 12.  Just a heads up I am not really one to go for a lot of colour which means the majority of my collection are nude shades.

The first one I brought was All Fired Up which is a Retro Matte. At the time I knew very little about lipstick formulas but I remember asking one of the girls in my local MAC for one that would last a long time and was a fuchsia pink.  All fired up is described as 'Bright fuchsia matte' which made it perfect for the occasion. I admit I had not really done  much research and having had this lipstick for 3 years I would say I wear it very little due to how drying it is on the lips.

Secondly is Creme Cup which is the formula cremesheen which In my opinion is a beautiful pinky nude which for everyday wear is perfect. On the website its described as being a 'light blue pink' which I agree it has a blue undertone which looks great on cool toned skin. the longevity of this lipstick isn't great but its one of those lipsticks that does not take long to reapply due to it being fairly sheer.

One of my favourites out of my collection is Ruby Woo which is also a retro matte which is described as being 'very matte vivid blue-red'. this is a lipstick that I always reach for even to layer with a more glossy lipstick or lip-gloss. I find it very wearable as its got good lasting power due to it being a matte. The blue tones in this lipstick works perfectly with my pale skin, putting Vaseline on before helps with the dryness but then I find makes it difficult to apply.

Next is Twig a colour that I had an obsession with through all of 2015, its a 'soft muted Brownish-pink', in the formula Satin. This formula in my opinion is the best, whilst being pigmented it is creamy and has a semi matte finish without it being too dry. Its brownish undertones makes it very autumnal. I like to pair this with Double time lip-liner which is also from MAC just to add to its longevity and create a neat line.

A lustre finish that I own from MAC is 'Plumful' it is described as being a 'Blossoming rose-plum' colour. the sheer formula of this lipstick means that when you have to constantly re apply. In my opinion I prefer the satin finish or the amplified over lustre due to they're longevity. I brought Plumful in the winter as an alternative to the purple lipstick trend that was going on in 2015, its a beautiful colour but due to its finish I find I don't reach for it very often.

My only limited edition lipstick that I own is from the Cinderella collection which came out at the beginning of 2015. Its called 'Royal ball' and is also a lustre finish. The sheer pink colour is perfect to wear over a lip-liner for an everyday look. The packaging and the fact that it was Cinderella themed was the reason I brought it,  the pale blue colour with gold details is so pretty. This lipstick is more for show than a purpose, I very rarely wear this as it is very pale and sheer.

Other additions to my collection include; Honey love, Velvet teddy and Morange. Honey love is a matte finish and is described as being 'light beige toned with rose' this colour is perfect for everyday but I often wear it with a dark smokey eye on a night out. Its long wearing which makes it perfect for special occasions. Honey love is very similar to velvet teddy but slightly more muted.Velvet teddy is also a matte but I find it to be a lot creamier than Honey love. This lipstick was so hard to get a hold of for a while but it was worth the wait.
Its described as being a 'deep toned beige' and I find myself using this quite frequently. I originally fell in love with Twig which is very similar but darker but velvet teddy is a close favourite.

Morange is a lipstick that had been lusting after it for a while. This beautiful orange lipstick I have often heard Zoe Sugg talk about and it looks so good on her. The formula is Amplified (on the website it says its an Amplified Creme) and its a very pigmented colour with a creamy finish. It is described as being a 'loudmouth orange' which fits it perfectly. This would look perfect with minimal makeup but also with a grey toned smokey eye.

The most recent additions to my collection are Please me, Stone and Lady Danger. All three have matte formulas but are more like the satin formula as oppose to ruby woo which is very matte. Please me is described as a 'muted-rosey-toned' matte pink. It is a beautiful subtle pink which is extremely wearable and not 'barbie like'

Lady danger is 'bright coral red' and is a perfect bright red, I havent really worn this as much as I would like but looking forward to wearing it more during the summer months. I recently brought some NYX lip-liners which go perfectly with both Lady Danger and Please me- 'Pumpkin' and 'Rose'

Stone is a muted brownish taupe, which is also a matte! I got this in spring so didnt find it very wearable but as it moves into autumn I can see myself wearing this all the time! I really need to get the matching lipliner!

I think that buying Mac lipsticks is addictive and its not very often that a beauty blogger only has one! The Vanilla scent as well as the sleek black packaging makes them even more appealing, although there are always dupes  that are equally as good.

Makeup Haul

SO here's another makeup haul, I need to stop but im addicted haha...But to justify it I picked up some bits and pieces that I have wanted for the longest time!

Starting with some bits I ordered off Feelunique, I had finally ran out of the Urban decay all nighter setting spray,  so I repurchased it in the travel size as the larger one is way to big to carry around! I also noticed that in the sale NYX lip liners were like £1.50 so i picked up a few shades- 'Pumpkin' 'Hot red' 'Rose' 'Beige'

Mac had 20% off for a few days so I took advantage and re-purchase my ''holy grail'' pro-longwear concealer as and also the Studio sculpt foundation that I loved a few years ago. I then picked up a mineralize skinfinish highlighter in 'Lightscapade' which is a beautiful white with blue specks running through it! I really do love mac highlighters I own 'Soft and gentle' which I also Adore.

From ASOS I ordered the Nars laguna bronzer which I have wanted FOREVER I had some vouchers so it made it abit cheaper! So happy I picked it up been loving it I've used it everyday for the last week! I also picked up another primer from the brand 'The Ordinary' its such a reasonable skincare brand, I really love the last few primers, I've got to try out some more products from the brand.

Finally I picked up a Maybelline mascara which I've been using quite a lot, i'm not too fussy when it comes to mascara as i wear false lashes pretty much everyday! But the wand on this mascara is really great as it's fairly thin so it grips onto the lashes really well and also is perfect for the lower lashline.

what have you guys been buying?

July Birchbox

Julys birchbox has been abit of a let down for me only because a couple of the items I won't actually be able to use! However the box is beautiful so I can't be too upset!

This months box contained a couple of organic products including and natural mineral deodarant  balm by Native unearthed and an Balance me organic micellar water which is the perfect size for weekends away as it's a good sample size!

In terms of makeup there was two products one included a Lord and Berry stick concealer which is unfortunately a shade to dark. the second product is Benefits go-go tint which I already own in the other shade but I haven't really played around with! So I'm looking forward to giving it a proper try!

Finally my box included a Percy & Reed wonder overnight recovery which is an overnight treatment for frizzy hair. This is perfect for me at the moment as i've just had abit of a hair fiasco and Im trying all sorts to try and save the condition of my hair.

There was also a perfume sample in the box which was a nice addition!

I can't wait for the next box as it includes a spectrum brush, Did anyone get the same box as me? have you tried any of the products yet, what do you think?

Beauty haul

I took a quick trip to boots the other afternoon had to get a couple of essentials like face wipes and razors but as per usual I ended up with 2 new lipsticks and many more..

I've been slowly trying out new skincare pieces, last month I picked up some of the new L'Oreal mask range this trip I decided to try some more from including the aloe serum and also a green tea moisturiser from the ever expanding Garnier range. I have only tried the L'Oreal serum twice but so far I like it, the size of the bottle is great its 70ml which will last forever! I love the style and colour of it, the consistency with the style and design of L'Oreal products is great,

I really really wanted to try one of the new L'Oreal lip paints, I picked up the red shade called 'red actually'  (which is a true red colour) as well as a rose nude called 'rose creme' from the normal lipstick range. The nude rose is a glossy finish with a dusky rose pigmentation. I've worn it a few times as just an everyday colour and I love it! I also picked up my trusty L'Oreal superliner in super black.

Some other bits I picked up was baby shampoo to wash my brushes, razors and then these black hair ties which I've seen everywhere.

Homewear haul

I haven't really done a home wear bits and bobs haul before, but I though this summer I might just include some things I've been buying or plan on getting for my new house in September.
Though I would start with some stuff from 'Home bargains' which I have never ever been to before but I will be going there a lot in the future! It was amazing the store I visited was fairly new so was big and organised and just had everything!

The main thing I picked up was a light grey tray thing, which says 'Its always better.. when we're together' in a pretty white print. It was only £2.99 which I though was so reasonable especially because its not just plain! I plan to have this on like a table with a book and reed diffuser in or a candle.
Talking of candles I picked up a three wick peony candle in a beautiful pale pink with a rose gold lid! this was £3-4 which again is such a good price! especially considering the size!

I didn't take pictures of a few things but I also picked up quite a few storage boxes in a white pattern, which are just great for under the bed and storing shoes and clothes. I also got a faux fur white cushion which was just £2.99.

The last few pieces I got are a couple of stationary bits, a pink chevron pen which was like 50p and also some like big paper clip/bulldog clips which I got for when I got back to uni to sort out all my paperwork! These were like 80p for a pack of 10! The designs and colours of these are super cute and have little messages/reminders on each clip!

I found a super cute camera strap in a white colour with little yellow/orange flowers which was around £1.50. I've been looking at some online for my Olympus pen but they were all about £20.00 so when I saw this is got excited!

Finally I got this sippy cup which is clear with funny quotes and also a pink straw! I always end up buying cups everywhere I go, but I love these cups as they make me want to drink more water.
I also popped into Tkmaxx- which since having lived like 5 minutes away from a big store in my first year of uni I a have had a major addiction to shopping here. Again I visited a newish store so everything was so organised.
The beauty range in Tkmaxx is so good, especially the big selection of makeup brushes. I saw these beautiful gold brushes from the brand 'Isabella Scott' which were SO reasonable, the foundation brush was £3.99 and the set of 3 eyeshadow brushes were £6.99! I was not expecting much when I picked them up but I have used them a little bit now and they are so dense but have a soft fluffy feel. The eye-shadow brushes in particular are really great with one of them being a flat shape so is good for packing on glitter shades or dark colours and then another of the brushes is a fluffy angled brush which I used to blend out the crease shades!

The other few bits were a little unnecessary but all my restraint runs away as soon as I start shopping especially in Tkmaxx, I managed to find a Kate Spade memo/to-do pad which I love. I'm a bit addicted to buying stationary especially things to make lists. I recently brought a Kate Spade planner so I thought this would look super cute tucked in it with my 'to-do' lists. This was £4.00.

The last two bits I picked up was some pink polka dot wrapping paper for £3,99 which I brought to cover some boxes to use for storage, and then also some macrons which I'm not even going to justify, I just love them. Especially the pink ones!

High end lipstick review

(left to right)YSL Rouge Volupte 9. Tom Ford 13 Blush Nude. Dior 414 Saint Germain. Dior 999. Chanel 54 Boy, Chanel 34 Raffinee, Chanel 444 Gabrielle.
So I thought I would do a little review on my higher end lipstick. I know that when I am trying to decide what brand or shade to purchase I always search the internet for swatches, reviews and You Tube videos. So hopefully this post will be useful to anyone who is looking at these particular lipsticks or just feels like treating themselves! I will also include links to more in depth reviews so you don't have to search too far into the world wide web.
I'll start with the first higher end lipstick I ever purchased which is YSL's Rouge Volupte in shade 9. I had been saving up my Boots points for so long just so I could treat myself. My reason behind purchasing a YSL lippy was because I had heard so many You-Tubers and bloggers including Shanxo and Emily Canham talking about how much they love the shades and formulas that YSL create as well as how beautiful and luxurious the packaging is.. Shade 9 is the perfect summer pink, its a dusky rose pink shade with a glossy shine meaning that it doesn't particularly last on the lips but the beauty of the packaging and the actual shade surpasses this. http://www.couture-girl.co.uk/2012/11/my-first-ever-ysl-rouge-volupte.html
The next one along is 'Blush Nude' by Tom ford, my lovely boyfriend chose this for me and I actually adore it. It is the perfect pinky nude, so wearable and moisturising. I wear this a lot of I am doing a very dramatic eye look and want something a bit more neutral on the lips! http://www.temptalia.com/tom-ford-blush-nude-lip-color-review-photos-swatches/ (I always end up on this site, they do so many detailed reviews with swatches, they cover all the bases!)
Another high end brand that i really love is Dior, I own both a red '999' and a nudey brown 'Saint Germain' Both of these shades are satin formulas, meaning that the pigmentation that these provide is insane. They glide on so easily, in terms of longevity I find they sit nicely for a while but like most lipsticks as soon as you start eating the lipstick disappears, I think the matte collections longevity would be a lot better but that is the same with a lot of matte lipsticks. (Links to a further indepth review of Dior lipsticks, includes swatches: http://www.escentual.com/blog/2016/09/21/dior-rouge-lipstick-swatches/)
The Last three are from Chanel which are probably my most favourite out of all my high end lippys. I mean isn't Chanel everyone's favourite? I own a red a nude and a pink! all the basic shades!
The nude i own is 'boy' and it is probably my most worn lipstick I wear it all the time. I often wear Mac Velvet teddy and then pop this in the centre of my lips! http://(http://www.thesundaygirl.com/2014/06/chanel-rouge-coco-shine-lipstick-in-boy.html)
I also own a classic red )'Gabrielle' which is a red lipstick with blue undertones so is perfect for fair skinned girls! I love how true red this shade is and it is definitely my most worn red lipstick! http://(http://www.temptalia.com/chanel-rouge-coco-lipstick-gabrielle-rouge-orage-ballet-russe/)
As well as a dusky pinky mauve in the shade 'la raffinee' this is my most recent high end lipstick. I had wanted to try out the velvet matte collection for a while and knew that I wanted a dusky rose shade for spring summer. This colour is perfect and I love the formula, its a Velvet matte so goes on like a satin lipstick but is long-lasting and stay on like a matte lipstick! Definitely going to be looking at getting some more from this formula. (http://www.cosmetopiadigest.com/2014/02/chanel-rouge-allure-velvet-la-raffinee-34-lipstick-review-swatches-photos.html

Recent beauty and fashion pieces

Thought I would share some accessories and makeup pieces that I've picked up at recently!

I'll start with some pieces I picked up from BodyShop, they had really great student discount so I decided to take advantage of it and pick up some stuff I've wanted for a little while.
The Honey bronzer I have wanted for such a LONNNGGGG time. I got the shade 3 (second from lightest) just because I still want to use it when I've got a a bit more of a tan...

I had to stock up on the Insta Blur primer, because I'm obsessed with it. It does such a good job at smoothing out my skin and making my makeup look more flawless.
Something I recently heard someone talking about on YouTube is the Vitamin E facial mist which is essential just a rose water mist. Is supposed to be hydrating which it definitely is, I have dry/ normal skin so I love finding moisturising products, I just find it makes my skin look so much nicer when I am all glowy and hydrated.

The last thing is a Pink Grapefruit handcream, I love the grapefruit range from Body-Shop it was a no brainer, I needed it.

Some more fashion pieces I picked up include sunglasses, I originally the tortoise shell ones from Primark for like £2-3. They really remind me of these Quay Australia sunglasses I was looking at last summer.

The other pair is the exact same pair from NewLook but in black! The Newlook ones are slightly better quality and sit better on my face as oppose to the Primark ones which kinda fall off! However they're still wearable as I know my sister has been wearing them non- stop for the last two weeks haha.

I have been loving bandannas mainly for putting on my handbags, I have a couple from Zara but I started noticing Newlook doing some really pretty ones, This green palm tree one looks so cute and it was only like £4.

Now onto a rather big lash haul! I think I mentioned Girl with Attitudes lashes on my Instagram but I picked some up in Primark a few months ago, but I recently found out that Savers also sells them, they had a couple of different styles to Primark's selection.

I was also really happy because Savers also had some of my favourite lengthening style lashes from Eylure, instead of paying nearly £6.00 in Boots and Superdrug they were £2.99! And they even do the double packs.

The other lashes I have been loving are the Primark 'Full look' lashes, I think I have tried most of the other ones including their 'dramatic' and 'Sultry' style. However I prefer the full looks ones because they look the most natural but give my lashes some length and fullness.

I definitely think its worth looking in Primark and Savers for lashes coz you could find your favourite lashes!

My First BirchBox

I've never had any kind of Beauty box before but I have always looked at them and pondered over
which to try. I saw Birchbox's May beauty box pop up on Instagram and I was sold just by the colour scheme, anything marble and pink and I WANT it.

Another reason I decided to purchase this months box is because the full size product was a glitter, with the choice of a grey shade or a vanilla shade and I've been looking at getting MAC vanilla so thought this would be a good alternative. I've also really wanted to try out the Laura Mericer primer for some time, so was hoping I would get that in my box- which I did yay!

So my box came with a full sized Marsk eyeshadow in 'Vanilla frosting' which is a beautiful finely milled eyeshadow/glitter. I haven't had a chance to play around with this one yet but I love the beautiful shade.

The other thing I was most excited about was the Laura Mercier radiance primer, I have used this a couple of times now and I actually love it. I knew I would love it  just because there is so many good reviews on the product. The size of this sample size is much bigger than I expected which is good, it means I can properly test out the product for a couple of weeks before I buy the full product, which I think I will be doing anyway.

The other 3 products I'm not so enthusiastic about, I did try the Doucce Volumizer Mascara but I struggle to properly review mascaras because my eyelashes are so stubby and straight. Therefore I cant really say much on this product.
The whish firming cream I haven't tried, but I cant imagine being very keen on it because I don't really use anything other than Bio oil, Aloe Vera and Body-shop moisturisers.
I probably will actually use the Beauty Protector- Protect and Volume. Its a handy size for travelling which saves lugging round a big bottle of Tresemme heat protectant, and its also vegan so its a bit more organic.

I also got some freebies with my box, they had a deal on a Benefit set! I ended up getting the sample size They're Real mascara, primer and remover! I used to use the They're Real mascara a lot before I fell in love with the Rollerlash

5 of my current favourite youtubers!

Emmas Rectangle:
Probably the newest YouTuber I have been watching but I'm glad I found her when I did because Emma recently did a 'Drugstore week' and I really really enjoyed the videos. She seems so edgy, down to earth and just so easy to watch!

Lucy Flight:
I've followed Lucy for a long time, shes so beautiful and funny! I just find her so relatable in terms of fashion and personality! I have loved watching her videos with her dad and family they're all just so hilarious!! I think I also like her so much because she has a close relationship with her younger sister, like I do!

Laura lee:
Also a newer YouTuber and I really don't understand why I haven't found her sooner! I just love how funny she is in her videos, A lot of YouTubers don't let their true personality come through but with Laura lee you can see that what you're watching is a true representation of her. Even her editing with funny sounds and stuff just shows her sense of humour, Her makeup reviews are so honest, and she provides her viewers with such a variety of brands and price ranges. Overall she comes across as being so care free and fun, which makes her so easy to watch!

Casey Holmes:
I am going to stop saying that I find everyone relatable because obviously I do otherwise I wouldn't have put them in a favourites but Casey Holmes is also so funny and I just love the sound of her voice, I'm aware that's a bit weird haha. It nice to see a YouTuber who seems to be doing constant videos on drugstore makeup! Also her new Smashbox highlighter palette in 'pearl'  is on my makeup current wishlist.

Nicole Guerriero:
I already put Nicole in a recent favourites because of her INSANE highlighter palette but honestly this gal has taught me so much, she introduced me to Ardell Demi wispies and so many other things. She is so down to earth and I love her vlogs, especially when her and Carly Bybel get together!

Newlook Wishlist

I thought I would just put up a post of some of the clothing pieces I have been looking at from NewLook! Since being at uni I have been buying so much from here its either because its so affordable, or my local store just has good stock! I just love how Newlook keeps up to date with the trends but at a really reasonable price!

I would definitely suggest browsing the online site or going to you're local store in the next week because they still have 20% off for students which knocks off more money off of already affordable fashion.

1. Mesh Spot top  2. Leather Jacket  3. Blue jeans
4. Pink embroidered heels  5. Black frill top  6. Pink frill jumper
7. Black denim skirt 8. Pink trousers 9. White tie back top

Rose gold favourites

Thought I would put together some of my current favourites, they're 'coincidentally' all rose gold.

One of my favourite trends at the moments is hoop earrings, I picked up a set of three hoops in different sizes in a rose gold metal from Topshop and I have loved wearing them! Clearly a Khloe Kardashian 'wanna be' but we can all dream!!

The Paco Rabanne Olympia perfume is an all time favourite of mine, the scent is so so warm! The smell is so distinctive and when I wear it I can really smell it on myself all day which I find doesn't happen with many of my other perfumes.

I couldn't not include the Makeup Obsession eye shadow palette which I am obsessed with (no pun intended) not only because the packaging is sooo aesthetically pleasing but because the shades are beautiful. I love the fact that you can custom make the palette, I'm lucky enough to have a Makeup obsession counter in my local boots which made the whole process of choosing shades SO much more fun! The best think about the eye shadow is the size they are much larger than normal single eyeshadows. Which means that they will last forever but you also have the option to replace. I created quite a warm palette with burgundies and browns as well as the basic white, skin colour and pale orange transition shade! The perfect palette to take travelling because you can put all you're favourite shades in as well as the fact it has the biggest mirror in!

The next favourite is a  Rose Huntington lipstick in the shade 'Lady Rose' It is so beautiful, and my favourite kind of lipstick with it being a rosey nude shade. Which I personally love for autumn as its more of a dark nude lip against my pale skin.

Face of the day

Thought I would pop in a post of a makeup look I have been wearing quite frequently recently!

Moisturiser- Simple moisturiser which is a moisturiser that I have probably used for the last 5 years!
Foundation: Revlon Colour stay in 'Buff' in the combination skin type! I have been loving this especially when I have fake tanned! The coverage is just perfect for long days at uni.
Concealer- As always Mac Pro-longwear in Nc15 which is the concealer I always reach for!
Powder- Soap and Glory 'One heck of a Blot' again another firm favourite, I like to pack this on my t-zone with a beauty blender to help with the longevity of my face makeup.
Contour- A new addition to my collection the Bella Piere contour kit which is similar to the Anastasia Contour kit.I love the ashy contour colour and the darker shade to define my cheekbones.
Highlighter- The Balm Mary Lou highlighter, is a perfect champagney coloured highlighter which looks great with so many looks.
Brows- Soap and Glory brow archery 'brownie points' a reasonably new product that I have been trying but I can honestly say I love it, I've been using pomades for a while but I definitely prefer a pen/crayon/pencil product!

Primer- Urban decay primer potion in original, I've been swapping between this and the NYX jumbo pencil in 'Milk'.
Eye shadow- The beloved 350 Morphe Palette which I love creating lots of different eye looks with. I love how you can create a full look with the one palette because the shades just go so well together, and are super blendable.
lashes/glue- Girls With Attitude lashes, the only lashes I have been wearing the last month, picked them up on recommendation from Lucy Flight.
Eyeliner- Loreal Super-liner in super black the only eyeliner I ever repurchase.
Mascara- Benefit Roller lash-  a long time fave!

Lipstick- Tom ford 'Blush' because as my march favourites suggests I am OBSESSED with nude rose colours haha

March favourites

Let's start with the best thing I have ever purchased in my life! The Anastasia Beverly hills Nicole Guirrero glow kit! I cannot believe I own it but I'm glad I took the plunge because it's honestly my favourite palette EVER! Every single shade is beautiful and I've started wearing them as glitters on my eyes because the shades are so pretty! I do feel like the formula is a lot more glittery than any others highlighters I own, the glitter isn't so finely milled but it still looks beautiful on the skin!

A constant favourite of mine are the Marc Jacobs perfumes in particular Daisy Eau so fresh which I got at Christmas. It's so fresh and light, definitely a spring scent! I just really love the aesthetics of Marc Jacobs perfumes, they're so pretty and I love how the different ranges look like next to each other! I own three and I love all of them.

Another makeup favourite is a high end lipstick from Diors 'Natural nudes' collection in the shade 'Saint Germain' which my Boyfriend chose himself! He brought this particular shade because he thought it looked like 'Twig' from MAC (which he knows I adore), granted it does look like it in the tube but when its on the lips its definitely not comparable. I LOVE the pinky nude tone and the creamy satin formula.

The final favourite of this month is an OPI nail varnish 'My very first Knockwurst' which has been the only polish I have worn all month, no joke! Its a rosey nude shade which I'm always drawn too. I picked this up in Tkmaxx, they had so many different shades for a fraction of the price! I would definitely suggest having a look in Tkmaxx for makeup and beauty but don't be surprised when you end up nearly buying everything!

So from this post I have learnt that I clearly have an obsession with pinky rose nudes and highlighter haha, which isn't really a bad obsession to have!

Let's talk about NYX

Ever since NYX has become more and more accessible to those of us living in the U.K. I have been completely obsessed. I started off with the soft matte lip cream in Copenhagen and it escalated very quickly to now having one of every type of product!

First I'll talk about some of my absolute favourites from this brand. The first being the brow pomade, which many claim to be a good dupe for the Anastasia dip brow! I've never personally tried dip brow, but I can honestly say that the NYX brow pomade is SO good. I'm on my second one of the shade 'Brunette' and I love using it on those days where you know you're going to be wearing makeup all day because it literally doesn't budge.

Another firm favourite is the blush that they do in the shade 'taupe' which is more of a contour colour. It's perfect for people with fair skin like me however the only downfall being is that as soon as you hit pan it shatters! Kind of given up on repurchasing after the last three shattering!

Probably my second favourite is the 'Warm Neutrals' eyeshadow palette. I picked this up just before Christmas after having lusted over it for a good month or so! I definitely do recommend getting this just because it is so beautiful, so compact and just all round good! For £16 I don't think you can say no?

The liquid lipsticks are a bit touch and go for me. I love the Lingerie range of which I own 'Honeymoon', 'Corset', and 'Lace Detail' (left to right in pic). Although I do sometimes find the lip cremes to be a bit more difficult, but this might be because I own two of the darkest shades ('Transalvania' and 'Copenhagen'). I really want to pick up 'Stockholm' and try a more nudey shade.

A let down is the eyeliner and the brow pencil. The eyeliner I really dislike only because when my eyes water it smudges really bad, but then I do have the same problem with most eyeliners! However the colour is super nice and black! I picked up the brow pencil in the shade 'brunette', assuming it to be the same shade as the pomade, but its very light and orangey toned - I might prefer it in a darker shade!

Another disappointment is the Hd concealer. The first few I bought, in the shade 'porcelain', were so good and I honestly can say it's one of my favourite concealers! But recently I got it in the same shade and its too orange/dark! It's no longer pale enough for my pale skin! I have only recently picked up the lavender colour correcting concealer, but so far I'm really liking it to brighten under my eyes!

I have also really enjoyed using the HD setting powder as it is perfect for setting a more full coverage look. However the flashback is CRAZY, so I wouldn't recommend wearing it on a night out if pictures are going to be taken.

Another product I haven't really used is the blotting papers, however the few times I have I found that they get rid of oily patches really well AND super good value for money! I paid £3-4 and you get so many sheets. Finally the setting spray is a firm favourite, it's refreshing and I definitely think it helps with the longevity of my makeup.

Some bits I really want to pick up included the Contour kit and some more single eyeshadows
